This painting depicts Jenson Button when he was driving for the McLaren Team. I had originally planned to have it show him walking in the pit lane and spent quite a lot of time painting the pit straight, garages and other related items. However, when the painting was finished I wasn’t entirely happy with it and felt that the background detracted from Jenson’s portrait. So, I took a deep breath and painted over it.
